# How do we plan repeat orders?

[All questions](https://syntaforge.com/en/knowledge/)

## The short answer

We can plan production in stages, using expected demand and feedback from earlier batches. For parts with longer lead times, we can discuss advance purchasing or buffer stock. Quantities, funding and inventory responsibility need to be agreed.

## In more detail

Share an initial sales or deployment plan. We compare it with stock on hand and component lead times, then agree what to prepare now and what to confirm later.

If demand or the product changes, the production and purchasing plan may need to change too. Payment, stock ownership, storage and unused materials should be agreed before inventory is committed.
